County Lobbyist Information

In 2016, the Orange County Board of Supervisors changed the registration location for County lobbyists. Within ten (10) days of becoming a County lobbyist, and annually thereafter, County lobbyists shall register as such with the Campaign Finance and Ethics Commission and file the necessary completed registration form supplied by the Commission.

County Lobbyist Registration/Renewal/Updates:

Within ten (10) days of becoming a County lobbyist, and annually thereafter, County lobbyists shall register as such with the Campaign Finance and Ethics Commission and file the necessary completed registration form supplied by the Commission. Moreover, an amendment to the Registration Form must be completed and filed by the County lobbyist with the Commission within ten (10) days of any change in the accuracy of the information reported on the Registration Form, including, but not limited to, any termination of services by the County lobbyist and the addition or loss of any County lobbyist employer.

Registered County lobbyists are required to renew their registration in January of each year, or within ten (10) days of the date they meet the definition of a County lobbyist. Payments are to be made on the Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector's website at: https://www.ocpayment.com. You will need your invoice number to log in.

Lobbyist Registration FAQ

  1. After our office has received your registration form, we will send you an invoice with information on how to make payment.
  2. You can either pay online or mail in a check.

  1. Please DO NOT mail payment before you receive an invoice. Payment address and instruction are stated on the invoice. 

  1. You will receive your invoice within 1-2 business days after our office receives your complete registration form.
  2.  It is highly recommended that you email your registration form for a quicker turnaround time.

Pursuant to the County of Orange Language Access Policy, the Office of Campaign Finance and Ethics Commission will provide critical program documents and information in the most prevalent languages spoken in the County as determined by the most recent United States Census.
